It's been one of those days and one of those months when it feels life is in constant flux. My list of clients is shuffling faster than a croupier's deck, friends near and far are going through transitions, and my family, from those in their 90s to my kids in their 20s, are on the move.
It would be comforting to say that the one constant in my life has been rowing, but I'd be lying.
That I count on rowing several times a week is a constant. That it actually has been happening lately, well, not so much.
Work, travel, family, weather—all those things have created roadblocks both for me and for Stefan. As a result, I've probably put in more time on the erg this past month than the water.
And since a piece of metal with a sliding seat doesn't inspire many beautiful photos, the blog has been quiet as of late.
I hope that changes. I hope that as spring breezes in and rustles the winter waters, I'll be out there again, filling my eyes and my camera with the ever-changing beauty of the bay. Hang in there. I'll be back.
